I just picked up a Gibson Jimmy Page reissue which had the Gibson inlay removed from the headstock by the last owner. I guess he was a socialist.

The back of the neck was sanded bare and the original pick ups and wiring swapped out for old patent stamped numbered pick ups and 50's style wiring.

I paid $393.00 for it

I will share pics (maybe if i can remember how to) when I am done restoring it .

Its a little rough but the top is fine. And the price was good too. He only wanted $250.00 but I told him it was worth more. Very Happy

What kind of operation is that? No sawdust...no empty beer bottles...no one is using extremely foul language...no one is spending 2 hours looking for lost tools...no dust on the bodies in the finishing room…
