I have been running an ad for guitar finishing at Reverb for over a year. It seems they have changed things and they have banned all service ads. They have been having too much trouble with people getting ripped off they tell me. That sucks as I am pretty sure it has been doing really well for me.

I was wondering if anybody has any suggestions of other places to post ads that get that kind of traffic.

If this isn't an acceptable topic, sorry and delete it.

I think it's hilarious that eBay finally had to lower their ridiculous 10% final value fees to match Reverb. I had stopped selling on eBay altogether and swapped to Reverb exclusively. I've listed a couple on eBay after that announcement.

You can get a pretty good deal on Facebook and Google ads.

Facebook lets you target interests, demos, and locations. Google lets you use common search terms.

You may want to consider reaching out to a local media company (newspaper, etc.) They often have services that can get your digital ads in front of the correct audience for a reasonable amount of money.
