I had a custom stamp made a few years ago. Took some effort and it was expensive, but I love it.

Can you please share the products used for the base and the candy? I'm thinking about doing something in Candy Green over gold base.

This is the gold (Jacquard Pearl-Ex Aztec gold):



I made the red by mixing Transtunt red dye with lacquer. I also used just a tiny bit (maybe 1/2 tsp.) of StewMac red pigment, just to make it blend slightly better.

Finished mine this week, waiting on pickups. Used a Mexico stray neck I had til I get a chance to build my own.

This color is crazy! It is sooo different in different lights. I see now why people are so in love with candy colors.

It's done...and just shy of 1 month from start to finish. I plan to do some studio shots, but I need to figure out the camera settings for this one...I keep getting the pickguard really blown out or the red color disappears into black. Until then, here are some outside shots:
