I don't know if this has been said.

Just saw on Facebook that Tom passed away on January 5th from an apparent heart attack. The community lost another great builder and a heck of a nice guy. Flags flying at half mast.

Tom was a true craftsman, and very generous with his knowledge.

Really sad to hear this. Tom was a super nice guy. My condolences go out to his family. He made some of the most beautiful instruments I've seen.

Here's a few pics from some of his build threads.

Man I really hate to hear this. I remember him schooling us on how he etched his metal headstock plates. His lap steels were beautiful. He could polish up Tru-Oil like no other. Prayers go out to his family.
