I tried one at an "early adopter" discount. Couldn't do much with it, but I'm sure it's great in the right hands. The pickup by itself seemed low output and the tracking sounded like a standard octave-splitter to me.

I didn't want to invest the time to keep fiddling with it, and didn't particularly care for how it sounded clean. It seemed that it would be well suited for chugga-chugga. I don't feel qualified to totally trash it.
