How bout a meeting of the RR 60's Epi Solidbody Owner's Club?

We'll open the meeting by playing Kick Out The Jams for like 2 hrs straight.

Yes I am, some people use to pick pictures from my site without saying where does they so sometimes I'm feeling worry a few , but you are ok, you did the guitar yourself, I like the mix crest/mosrite, I know someone from australia who did something this way , not exactly but.... speaking of bass I did this one, as epi didn't think to do a real crest deluxe bass...
(sorry for the size!!!!)

GAH!
That's a huge photo!!!
Are those Darkstars?

Roger, you do very nice work. I've wanted one of your Crestwoods for years but I can't afford one so I had to build my own. I think mine turned out OK but it's certainly not as nice as one of yours!

So I went to your site (I like the new site, by the way). It appears the Deniz/Fred Crestwood photo was taken by you. Is that correct?
I know that you're acquainted with Deniz. So it that his guitar at your house?

--------------------------------------------

If you other guys don't know who Roger is - then you MUST check out his site:

http://www.daguetguitars.com/

His work is the gold standard of Crestwood reproductions.
Seriously.

Yes the Dark star by Fred Hammon, for me, one of the finest bass guitars pickups (the finest!),
Den took the pictures and send them "years" ago, ( I got more pictures) I had the opportunity to take all the measurements I need to recreate this great guitar, I did a perfect repro then a copycat relic then the birdman special proto he used on the last Radio Birdman album and on the his various other band, deep reduction and soul movers.
what happened to crestwood #1 and 2? one has been sold by deniz to an aussie guy living in FRANCE), two is playing...3 is a deniz friend's american axe, 4 and 5 are mines (on the site they did the crestwood deluxe 3 and 2 pickups samples) #6 is holy curse axe (french band in the vein of the "New christ") #?twenty, thirty something is Nicke royale one and so on... sorry you can't afford one of mine specially the first years because they were fitted with original Epiphone pickups which where thousand times better than any minihumbucker I 'm using since... but... I am working on a true to the bone reissue of these original pickups I know inside out...spring 2011 will be a good time...
have a nice day.

I'm 99% sure this is a guitar that was stolen from my late father a few months before he died at a gig in Dallas tx. The body was broken at the neck and had a real good repair but the paint wasn't a perfect match. I can see the break on the body below the neck and the not perfectly matched paint blend. It was in the original case, gold on the inside. I've been scouring the internet for years hoping to find it. My grandfather bought this for him for his 18th birthday, he was born in 1952. I grew up watching him play it. I can be contacted at 469-569-1412 if this is my dad's axe, please call me.

I have a 63 Wilshire, Johnny Winter in a bottle ! Big fan of 'em here. A mate of mine was Marriott's guitar tech and was gifted the Dwight way back . Urban myth says it was stolen, fact is it's with his widow in Cyprus.

@sg64gibson- You get the wiggle stick that came on it?

Those are probably made of unobtanium, and might be a good thing given the look of that bridge.
