Ahh yes, I recall the post about the flipped magnet but I was not clear as to its placement in the device.
Now that IS cool!
I am guessing that the "Flux Capacitor" ( Laughing ) pushes in towards the center of the pickup's field.
That's freaky, because you don't just have a string rotating inside a magnetic window.
Isn't the measurement being made, of an object moving through opposing magnetic feilds?

I'm scared Shocked
