I am in the works making a logo for my basses and guitars and just want everyones opinion.

The look I was going for was classy and simple.

What do you think?

Looks good, but the "and" should be lower case. Wink

Is that your business name? I was thinking "Vint-Aged" would be cool. Cool

+1 and should be lower case.
I like it. Maybe increase the font of vintaged a smidge, and make it gold or silver and leave the rest black.
Classy gets my vote, and when things get busy and u need an apprentice. U just let me know. Wink

I wouldn't use "Guitars & Basses" on the headstock, I'd use a model name or nothing at all.

I'm in agreement with dropping the "guitars and basses" line. That doesn't seem right to me at all. It's "Fender Stratocaster" "Gibson Les Paul", not "Fender Guitars & Basses." That makes me think of what I'd read in the yellow pages.

I'm w/ kregg. drop the guits and basses. too much going on.
and +1 to low end: make the vintaged slightly more bold and add gold.
Cool design

I agree that the weight isn’t heavy enough. You want people to be able to read it from the front row... Perhaps also making the V larger, relative to the other text.

Perhaps changing “Guitars And Basses” to “... & ...” with a curly-que font for the &.

I also think Guitars and Basses should be reserved for advertisements and letterhead, putting "Guitars" on guitars, and "Basses" on basses.

But even if you did nothing, it is nice...

well I cant use it anyways if you look at the old Vantage guitars they used the same font..

Also since each instrument is custom built there is no models..

So I think I am going to go with Vintaged Instruments instead of guitars and basses.

Back to the drawing board....

I'd drop the guitars and basses and also maybe consider "Crafted in the USA" instead. Just my 2cents

Are you printing these yourself or getting a batch done?

I like that, seems to be a better fit as a non model specific decal.

That looks pretty good.
Maybe a bit smaller font on the Custom Instruments.

How would Vintaged look if it was Italicized?

Or how about a hollow font with gold fill?

What is that Font called?

I wanted to keep it one color white or silver for dark finishes and black for light finishes.

The font I have no idea I got a graphic designer to help me out and its his work from some expensive font studio program he uses.
