I have a 1964 Fender Bandmaster amp with the speaker cabinet, but I also like to play the head through a Epiphone Valve Jr. speaker cab. The stock Lady Luck speaker sounds great, but at 16 Ohms I worry about the impedance mismatch.

What 4 Ohm 12" speaker could I put in the Epi cabinet that would sound good with the Bandmaster head?

an 8 ohm speaker will be fine with it...16 could fry the output tranny.

not aware of any good 4 ohm 12s for guitar.

I ordered a Cannabis Rex for my Blues Jr. It'll be here today.

Looks like Eminence makes the Texas Heat in a 4 ohm.

Got the Cannabis Rex yesterday, got it installed in the Blues Jr. Man, what a difference. It took care of a lot of the boxyness associated with that amp.

Anyway, if the Texas Heat is half as good, it's worth the money to give it a shot.

ET65 from Warehouse Speakers. Played it and was recommended by Warehouse with my 66 Bandmaster. Very smooth, no ice pick highs.
