Can't get the trem on this thing to do much. Crank both trem speed and trem depth ALL the way up and you can barely hear any change at all. I know NOTHING about amps.......yet. Suggestions?

I got this thing in a trade a while back. Anybody got any experience with these things? I broke it down tonight and sprayed cleaner/lubricant all over all the pots and jacks. Nada. I also turned the two plastic screws on the board all the way down (after a little research) and all that did was cut the output WAY down. I'm lookin for a reason why the trem is so weak. Cranked all the way up you can tell it's doin somethin but not much. I wanna love this amp cause I know it's a great little thing, BUT at the moment, gah......
