OK, I know. This is a totally none, cork sniffer type question but...

Is it OK to twist the leads of a pup to minimize clutter inside the body?

Like this:

Will it set up any funky inductance, weird eddies, or other electronic things I don't really understand. Will I go back in time & meet George McFly?
Should I stop worrying about stupid non-issues like this and just finish the damn build already?

Weird Eddie?

Much better than Scary Eddie.

I don't think I'd worry too much about it.

It's fine.

If you think about it, the pickup leads are just extensions of the pickup coil wire, and the coil wire is wrapped around itself several thousand times.

OK thanks.

I figured it was a non-issue but I started thinking about how a coiled instrument cable can effect the signal and how important lead dressing in amps etc... (I know, I totally over analyze).

this pic always creeps me out

Being that it's an extremely low-voltage signal, it's unlikely to have any effect at all.
