I am going to change from nitro to waterbased laquer, and I am thinking of using no wax shellac as a primer. I have a ton of it, and if it will work, I will save some money. Has anyone done this?

I have used them both, and they both seem to work the same. I do like the Reranch nozzles better than the single nozzle from Gracies. But other than that no difference.

I had the same problem while refinishing my Strat, and I just continued
with my clearcoating, and the ding just melted right in and dissappeared by the time I was finished.

Just to update. I sprayed 7 more coats of clear and that took care of the problem. Thanks for the help!!!!
